This makes them un-reprintable
It would be nice to have redundancy with Exquisite Blood, so I could replace Defiant Bloodlord with the conqueror, as I would still have plenty of cards that replicate the effect of Sanguine Bond, and doing that would also lower the mana curve of that deck, but, on the other hand, the bloodlord is a very nice flying beater, which I can also give lifelink, and Exquisite Blood costs 5 mana to cast, but does nothing on its own, so I also would have no difficulty in replacing it with its creature counterpart, as well, so it is a difficult decision, for me
You can then cast Walking Ballista for free and use it to win
